Carjacking Reported In New London; Police ID Person Of Interest
A carjacking was reported in New London on Tuesday morning.
NEW LONDON, CT — Police are investigating following a carjacking Tuesday morning in New London. Police responded at 9:45 a.m. to a report of a car stolen in the area of Channing Street and Vauxhall Street.
Police arrived and determined that an occupied car was taken by force. The suspect did not use a weapon, and the female victim was not injured.
Police said the suspect is a white man about 5'8" tall with brown hair and ungroomed facial hair.

Police tracked down the vehicle, which was found in Woonsocket, RI. Police have identified a person of interest in the case.
