Chamber Of Commerce Innovation Center Set To Open In New London

The chamber's new home and business incubator is ready to open in downtown New London.

NEW LONDON, CT — The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut is opening an Innovation Center in New London. The space includes "flexible coworking and private offices for startups, regional expansion, and creative off-site meetings in New London, CT."

The 92 Eugene O'Neill Drive location will also house the chamber's new headquarters. The space was created with the help of $1.4 million from the state.

Chamber officials expect the center will create 100 jobs each year and 100 businesses over the next decade. The center is anticipated to open this month, The Hartford Business Journal reported.

The Innovation Center will include a café, a wellness room, a large patio, and parking with an EV charger. The chamber touts that the center is centrally located and within walking distance to restaurants.

The Innovation Center is now leasing private offices. These range from single offices that go for $750 a month to triple offices for up to three people for $1,250 a month. Co-working desks will also be offered and the chamber's website lists details on these as "coming soon."

The chamber will also offer an on-site eight-week Entrepreneur Academy along with business services, advocacy, and other resources.
