City of New London unveils new website for Public Works projects

The city is keeping residents and businesses informed about current and upcoming public works projects.

The City of New London has launched a new Public Works Project website designed to keep residents and businesses informed on public works projects across the City.

The website, https://nlpublicworksprojects.com, lists current and upcoming projects, bid information, designs and photos. Among the projects listed on the new website are the Toby May Park basketball courts, L.E.D. streetlight conversion, Ocean Avenue reconstruction, and the recently completed Eugene O’Neill Drive Streetscape and Municipal Lot Improvement project.

“This new website is a critical tool as we work to improve New London’s infrastructure,” said New London Mayor Michael Passero. “It provides transparency for our residents and businesses as we work on these important public works projects.”

“This new website allows us to effectively communicate with our residents,” said Brian Sear, Director of Public Works for the City of New London. “Everyone can go to the website for updates on projects, and to get answers to many of their questions quickly.”

The Public Works project website also provides a direct phone number to the Public Works department, and it includes a link to the City of New London’s website.
