City Officials Schedule Recount For New London School Board Race
New London officials have scheduled a recount for two city school board candidates separated by less than 10 votes in Tuesday's election.

NEW LONDON, CT - City officials have scheduled a recount for two school board candidates separated by less than 10 votes in Tuesday's election, the New London Day reported. The recount is scheduled to take place Wednesday, November 15.
Green Party candidate Mirna Martinez was declared a winner over Republican candidate Kathy Skrabacz in Tuesday's election, according to the New London Day. Unofficial vote tallies indicated Martinez received 1,161 votes, while Skrabacz received 1,152 votes.
Along with Democrat Regina Mosley, the two candidates had previously worked together to co-found the New London Parent Advocates group, as reported by the New London Day. The recount will start at 10 a.m. in the City Hall council chambers.
