Coast Guard won every match and dropped just one set in beating Manhattanville 9-0 to pick their first win of the season.
Blake Maurer won 6-1, 5-7, 10-6 at #1 singles, Greg Mitchell won 7-5, 6-2 at #2 singles. Josh Fischer got the win at #3 singles (6-1, 6-4), Chris Hoffman got the win at #4 singles (6-4, 6-2) while Matt Faha won at #5 singles (6-1, 6-2). David Blystone was a winner by default at #6 singles.
In doubles action, Maurer and Hoffman won 8-6 at #1, Mitchell and Nick Martin won 8-4 at #2 while Fischer and Blystone won 8-2 at #3 for the Bears, who evened their record at 1-1.
