Connecticut College Sailors Place Fourth In Dellenbaugh Regatta

Co-ed squad finishes 11th

Connecticut College placed fourth and 11th in two sailing events on Sunday. The following information was provided by William Tomasian, sports information director at Connecticut College:

The seventh ranked Connecticut College women's sailing team competed in the Brad Dellenbaugh Regatta at Brown University. The Camels placed fourth in the 17 team field with a score of 206 points. The Brown Bears won the regatta with a score of 139 points. Yale and Boston College placed second and third with respective scores of 189 and 193 points.

The Connecticut College coed squad finished in 11th place teams in the 16 team field at the Southern New England Team Race on the Thames River. The Camels posted a 6-9 record over the weekend. Junior Ben Bainbridge, Peter Miller, Kevin martland, Maggie Shea, Harry Yates, Sam Parish, Liz Wilsterman and Kevin Lau-Hansen competed for the Camels.
