CT College 'Walk To End Homelessness' Raises Over $35,000
Students, faculty, staff and local members of the community raised over $35,000 during the school's "Walk to End Homelessness" event.

NEW LONDON, CT — Connecticut College students, faculty, staff and local members of the community raised over $35,000 during the 11th annual "Walk to End Homelessness" on April 22. The money will go toward the New London Homeless Hospitality Center.
According to the school's website, over 500 people participated in the 1.8-mile walk through the city, which is organized by student scholars in the school’s Holleran Center for Community Action and Public Policy.
The Hospitality Center provides shelter and support services for hundreds of people in southeastern Connecticut.
