Dangerous New London Intersection Slated For Safety Upgrades: Report

The $48,726 project is funded by a federal grant.

NEW LONDON, CT — A city intersection that is considered the most "high-injury" in the region will get several upgrades, according to The Day of New London.

Parts of Willetts Avenue that intersect with Montauk and Maple avenues will have crosswalks added along with new striping, bike-extension buffers and flex posts to deter on-street parking.
