
Dime Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of a new vice president, commercial loan officer at Dime Bank, a mutual bank headquartered in Norwich. Elizabeth “Beth” D’Amato joined the Bank recently and is responsible for growing and managing a commercial loan portfolio, coordinating commercial lending activities, and promoting the Bank’s commercial lending services and products throughout Southeastern Connecticut and Western Rhode Island.
D’Amato brings 20+ years of commercial banking experience to Dime Bank. Prior to joining the Dime, she most recently held the position of senior vice president, risk management remediation at Citibank where she was employed for over ten years. She brings experience in commercial credit risk management, loan underwriting, portfolio management, remediation/workout and loan review to Dime Bank.
D’Amato is joining a team of seven experienced commercial lenders under the direction of the chief lending officer and senior vice president, Brian McNamara.

She earned her BS degree in business administration from Bentley College and a MBA from the University of Bridgeport. She is a native of Westerly, Rhode Island and plans to relocate back home. She serves as a Milford Hospital Corporator.
