The Smarter Balanced Assessment is a new measure of student learning that will take the place of the Connecticut Mastery Test and the Connecticut Academic Performance Test beginning in 2015. This school year, the Smarter Balanced Assessment will be field tested in over 100 of Connecticut's school districts and in 24 states.
New London Public Schools' students will participate in Smarter Balanced field testing beginning this March.
