"Don't Bug Me" Campaign May Provide Bedbug Relief to New London Residents

The New London City Council is making plans to provide bedbug relief to those living under the New London Housing Authority.

NEW LONDON, CT - The New London City Council is making plans to provide bedbug relief to those living under the New London Housing Authority, as reported by the New London Day. It is hoped that the program can provide relief against any pesky infestations.

City Council plans to funnel $14,729 from the federal Community Development Block Grant program into the initiative, according to the New London Day. The initiative has been dubbed the “Don’t Bug Me” campaign. (To sign up for New London breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

The Council plans to help purchase mattress, box spring and pillow covers for the Authority’s five housing complexes, the New London Day reported. The Housing Authority manages 436 units.
