ECSO Concert - New Beginnings

Join Toshiyuki Shimada, Music Director & Conductor and our 2014 Instrumental Competition winner, Clare Elena Semes.

The Eastern Connecticut Symphony concert series continues on Saturday, January 10 at 8 PM at the Garde Arts Center in New London. ECSO Music Director, Toshiyuki Shimada, conducts the program entitled, “New Beginnings.” Featured are Clare Elena Semes, 2014 ECSO Instrumental Competition Winner, playing Bartok’s Violin Concerto No. 1, Mozart’s Symphony No. 35 (Haffner) and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5 Concertmaster Stephan Tieszen will present the pre-concert chat at 7 p.m. All patrons are invited to a free post-concert reception. Ticket prices range from $28.80 to $62 with $12 rush tickets for students and active military personnel available after 6 PM at the box office on the night of the performance.
