Deans Mill Farm 

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. The property can be rented for weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Additionally, the bed and breakfast can be rented by the room or reserved in its entirety for complete privacy. The Farm has the ability to host small private indoor events for up to 50 guests in the Farmhouse. Outdoor tented events are our specialty, with numerous locations on-site that are picturesque for your celebration. Outdoor tented celebrations can accommodate up to 250 guests.

NEW LONDON, CT — An elderly woman is in critical condition following an accident in New London on Wednesday afternoon, according to police. Police responded to a report of a car vs. pedestrian accident at the New London Shopping Center parking lot off South Frontage Road at 12:18 p.m. A vehicle struck an 88-year-old woman as she walked across the lot leaving one of the shopping center's businesses. Police provided medical aid until the arrival of the New London Fire Department and Yale New Haven Hospital Paramedic. The woman suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was taken to Lawrence &amp; Memorial Hospital for treatment. She is currently in critical condition. The 25-year-old woman driving the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident and is cooperating with police. Investigation into the crash is ongoing.
