The New London Police Union will participate in the 5th annual Raheem Carter Scholarship Flag Football game, 9am Poquonnock Plains Park Groton.
Raheem Carter was a Fitch High School graduate and football star who went on to become a New London police officer. He died of colon cancer at age 25. His mother, Sheila Perry, started the annual flag football tournament 5 years ago.
