Teen Health and Wellness Mini Expo

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month and the National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, Families United is hosting a Teen Health and Wellness Mini-Expo. This event is FREE and open to the public. The first 100 mom/caregivers who attend will receive a free carnation in honor of Mother's Day; donated by Fisher Florist and Families United. There are also several door prizes that will be raffled off to those who visit each table. The goal is to bring community agencies and teens together for the purpose of "keeping busy". When teens and youth have something to occupy their time, especially something that they are passionate about, other things can be prevented, such as: pregnancy, drug or alcohol use, and crime. Our hope is to connect  teens and their families with the many different opportunities that are offered throughout New London and surrounding townsIf you have any questions, please contact Raeanna at (860) 443-0044 or raeanna@familiesunited.org. We are also still seeking community agencies to attend as vendors. Vendor space is free, we just ask a donation of a door prizes. Please contact Raeanna at the information above if you are interested.
