Fire Ravages New London Home

A Tuesday morning fire at a home on School Street in New London has displaced five people, four of whom are children, according to fire officials.

No one was in the home at the time, and no injuries were reported. The blaze damaged the first floor and basement, and appeared to also impact the second floor.

The Day writes that the cause of the fire, which may have started in the basement, remains under investigation.
