Five People Called Testify About Fatal New London Shooting

The suspect faces murder charges stemming from a shooting in December 2015.

NEW LONDON, CT – Five people were called to testify Thursday about a fatal shooting that occurred last year, The Day reported.

A probable cause hearing took place for suspected shooter Shaquan Lee-Seales, 22, The Day reported. He faces murder charges linked to the December 2015 shooting of Gilberto Olivencia in New London.

Those called to the stand included New London police sergeant Robert Pickett and state police detective David Lamoureux, The Day reported. An 18-year old who had provided information that led to the suspect’s arrest was also brought to testify.
