Former New London Mayor Calls for FBI to Finish Hillary Clinton Email Investigation
He has said that it needs to be done before the Democratic National Convention in July.
NEW LONDON, CT- Democratic delegate and former New London Mayor Daryl Finizio announced a White House petition Tuesday to push the President to ensure the FBI completes its investigation of Hillary Clinton soon, Fox 61 reported.
The investigation is linked to the debated legality of Clinton using a personal email server while she was Secretary of State, according to Fox 61. It is a matter the FBI has been looking into for months to determine whether criminal charges should be filed.
Finizio is calling for the investigation to wrap up before the Democratic National Convention is held in Philadelphia from July 25 to 28, as reported by Fox 61. Finizio is a Connecticut delegate who supports Bernie Sanders, and has said it is important to have all the information from the FBI before choosing the party’s nominee.
