Former Subway Restaurant May Be Demolished In New London
A developer is pitching plans to demolish the former eatery.

NEW LONDON, CT — Thr Planning and Zoning Board has given developer, 375 Colman Street, LLC/Shafique Ahmed, a 65-day extension concerning their plans to construct a new commercial building with associated site improvements where the former Subway restaurant will be demolished.
The applicant was granted a 65-day extension concerning presenting the proposal to the PZB.
William Baldaski, who attended the meeting, expressed frustration with attending two meetings to hear the application and yet again the application is being bumped to the next meeting, according to meeting minutes.

Chairman Levine explained that the applicant has granted the commission a time extension which allows the applicant additional time to put together the documents that will be reviewed by the commission
