From Freezing to Spring-Like Again
Mother Nature always keeps us on our toes as we woke up to mid 20s today and could hit 70 degrees later this week.

This morning, it definitely felt like winter arrived overnight with temperatures in the low to mid 20s for the entire state of Connecticut.
We even saw snowflakes on Sunday, and so of course winter has arrived, right? Well not exactly.
Yes, it’s going to remain cold on Monday with temps reaching the upper 40s and at night temps will drop back into the upper 30s to near 40 degrees.

But after that, it’s going to feel like autumn again — or maybe even spring-like — for the rest of the week.
On Tuesday, the immediate coastline communities will see temps hit into the mid-60s while the rest of Connecticut will approach 60 degrees and skies will be partly sunny. At night the lows will be more than double what we saw this morning.

Temps on the shoreline will only go down to 50 degrees and near 45 for interior portions of Connecticut.
Wednesday is even warmer, with continued sunshine and temps in the upper 60s and lows in the upper 40s to around 50 degrees.
More sun on Thursday with temps again in the mid to upper 60s and lows in the mid 40s, but it gets a bit cooler on Friday with more sun and temps in the mid to upper 50s and at night the temps fall back into the mid 30s.
The weekend looks much warmer than this past weekend with sun on Saturday and temps in the upper 50s and temps are forecast to be in the 60s next Sunday but with mostly cloudy skies.
And again, another week of weather with no rain predicted.
