Family Fun at East Lyme Touch-A-Truck

There is no better way to spend a day with your favorite children than to attend the East Lyme Auxiliary Child and Family Agency’s Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, May 16th, 2015, from 9 am to 2pm at McCook Point Park in Niantic. Rain date is Sunday, May 17th.

Children will have fun exploring the many trucks, eating lunch and snacks under the new tent, having their faces painted, and decorating their hair with beads and feathers.

One of the new events this year that you won’t want to miss will be the ROAMING RACEWAY! This model car race track allows participants to race around a colorful professional slot car race track, controlling the speed of their car by pressing a trigger on a plastic, hand-held controller. This is an ideal, exciting racing experience for kids, adults, or the entire family! The Raceway is housed on a small trailer where 8 children at a time can participate in the 20 lap race. There are no losers; every child gets a medal for participating. The cost/child is $2.00.
