Cops: Man Crashed Van Into House, Was Charged With DUI
A Groton man whose van crashed into a Bayonet Street home was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, police said.
NEW LONDON, CT—A man whose van crashed into a Bayonet Street home has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, police said.
New London Police were called to a home Sunday night after a 2016 Honda Odyssey drove into an enclosed porch.
Yanxia Chen, 48, of Groton was charged with driving under the influence.

No one was hurt. The car, wedged between a tree and the porch, caused no major structural damage, it was reported.
