Groton Police Seek Car To Make Welfare Check On Toddler

Police are attempting to locate a car to make a welfare check on a 2-year-old child believed to be in her mother's custody.

GROTON, CT — City of Groton Police Department are asking for the public's help in locating a car to check the well-being of a 2-year-old child.

Police are searching for a black Honda Civic as pictured here.

"The child is believed to be in the custody of her mother, however, law enforcement personnel have reason to believe a welfare check is needed," police wrote on Facebook.

The car was last seen in Groton on Monday at 5:08 p.m.
