Harbor Lighthouse Doppelganger Competition

New London Maritime Society invites the public to send in doppelgänger images. Win a $100 gift certificate to the Custom House Museum Shop.

New London Maritime Society invites the public to send in doppelgänger images --Harbor Lighthouse-inspired logos -- depicting Connecticut’s oldest lighthouse: New London Harbor (Pequot) Lighthouse! Questions? Call 860-447-2501.

  • All images must be of Harbor lighthouse-inspired logos located within New London County, and each image must be identified by its street and town location.
  • Only one example of each logo counts; for example, if ‘Business A’ uses a logo on a sign, the image of only one ‘Business A’ sign counts, (you do not get four counts for photos of four different but similar Business ‘A’ signs.) However, if the ‘Business A’ uses several different Harbor Lighthouse logos for separate purposes, one image of each different logo counts.
  • The person who submits the most individual verified logos wins!
  • Entries must be received (in a single email batch) at nlharborlight@gmail.com by midnight, Friday, December 12. Entries also may be delivered in print version to the Custom House Maritime Museum by 5 PM Friday, December 12.
  • The winner will be announced in Sunday’s (December 13, 2014) Custom House Maritime Museum email blast!

The Harbor Lighthouse Doppelganger Competition winner receives a
$100 gift certificate to the Custom House MUSEUM SHOP!

Gift certificate cannot be combined with any other MUSEUM SHOP discounts.
