Home Struck By Gunfire In New London Shooting: Police

At least one home was hit by a gunshot in a Tuesday night incident.

NEW LONDON, CT — Police responded to a shooting incident Tuesday night when at least one home was struck by gunfire. A call came in reporting the shooting in the area of Blackhall and Belden streets at 10:38 p.m.

Police located evidence supporting the initial report and recovered multiple shell cases. At least one home was damaged by the gunfire.

Police said the incident does not appear to be a random act and no injuries were reported.
