Hygienic Art Gallery Introduces, Artist Academy Jr. - Children's Story & Art Time

What: Introduction and Registration for Artist Academy Jr. Ages: 4-10 Where: Hygienic Art Galleries 79 Bank St New London CT When: Saturd

New London CT’s Hygienic Art Galleries introduces a new program to engage children and families with the arts and their community through story-telling and creative activities led by Hygienic’s new Gallery Manager Sarah McKay with help from other artists. There will be a FREE introductory story-time and registration day on Saturday, December 19th from 10:30 – 11:30am. Artist Academy Jr. will officially kickoff in 2016 and will be offered every Saturday morning.

“There is no such thing as being too young to be creative. Hygienic Art has an opportunity to be a gateway to creative exploration and an introduction to the arts for children in the community,” says McKay.

Each Saturday, several books pertaining to creative fun and the impact of the arts will be read to the children. Following the story-time, there will be a hands-on craft for children and parents to engage in together and with their neighbors.
