Injured New London Man Votes Curbside While Waiting for Ambulance
A man insisted on casting his vote while waiting for an ambulance after sustaining an injury at the polls.

NEW LONDON, CT – A New London man did not let an injury stop him from casting his vote on Election Day, according to The Day.
A political science professor, whose identity was unavailable, tripped and fell while voting at the Nathan Hale Arts Magnet School on Tuesday, The Day reported. A witness said blood was everywhere when the incident occurred close to 9:30 a.m.
The man insisted on voting while waiting for an ambulance to arrive, and his wife oversaw the process in accordance with the law on curbside voting, The Day reported. The man then left in an ambulance.
