Juvenile Bicyclist Injured In New London Crash: Police

NEW LONDON, CT — A juvenile bicyclist was hospitalized following a crash Thursday, according to police.

Police responded at 3:05 p.m. to the area of Jefferson Avenue and Ashcraft Road on a report of a car versus bicycle accident.

The juvenile bicyclist suffered what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital for treatment, police said.

The driver remained at the scene of the accident and is cooperating with the investigation.
