A mixed-use building in a prominent spot that dates back to the 19th century is listed for sale.
NEW LONDON, CT — A large downtown mixed-use building in New London is on the market for $2.8 million, according to a Berkshire Hathaway listing.
Harris Place at 153 to 165 State St. is described as next door to City Hall and close by to the Amtrak/CTrail Shore Line East train station.
The five-story office and retail building with nearly 50,000 square feet is "home to a wide array of commercial tenants, including professional offices, art galleries, and a private library," according to a description on LoopNet.

The building, which dates back to 1885, has received numerous upgrades and renovations from its current owners.
The building is currently being divided from an adjacent building section at 12 Masonic St. Both building sections are available for sale individually but could be sold together, the Berkshire Hathaway listing reads.
