Ledge Light Health District Reports 201 New Cases

NEW LONDON, CT — The Ledge Light Health District reported 201 new cases in the last week.

"Our contact tracers continue to report that they have observed many instances of family and social gathering connections," the district said in a statement. "We are also seeing a significant number of cases associated with sporting events. Cases associated with institutions (schools, long-term care facilities, etc.) remain relatively low."

Here are the numbers across the district's town:

East Lyme: 273 total cases, up 6 from last week

Groton City: 107 total cases, up 13 from last week

Groton Town: 343 total cases, up 36 from last week

Ledyard: 113 total cases, up 16 from last week

Lyme: 11 total cases, steady from last week

New London: 635 total cases, up 85 from last week

North Stonington: 29 total cases, up 7 from last week

Old Lyme: 34 total cases, up 2 from last week

Stonington: 92 total cases, up 19 from last week

Waterford: 337 cases, up 17 from last week

Across the district: 1,974 total cases, up 201 from last week
