Ledyard Resident Promoted To Chelsea Groton Bank Branch Manager

A Ledyard woman has been promoted to Branch Manager of Chelsea Groton Bank's Waterford location.

GROTON, CT – Marielle Winkelman has been promoted to Branch Manager of Chelsea Groton Bank’s Waterford location. Winkelman was previously the Assistant Branch Manager of the Bank’s Groton branch.

Winkelman has 12 years of banking experience under her belt, according to a release. During her three years with Chelsea Groton Bank, she has organized Small Business Expos and branch events and worked alongside managers to ensure efficient and effective operation of branches. “In her time at Chelsea Groton Bank, Marielle has proven her leadership abilities by facilitating the education and development of staff members so they are better equipped to help our customers achieve their financial goals,” Chelsea Groton Bank SVP, Sales and Service, Lori Dufficy said in a release. “I know she will continue to build new relationships and lead her team and customers in her new role.”

Winkelman has a degree from Post University in Business Administration/Management and will graduate from the Connecticut School of Finance and Management in 2019. She is active in the community and volunteers at various events throughout the year.

Winkelman resides in Ledyard with her family.
