Longtime Car Dealership Sold In New London

One of the city's three remaining independent car dealerships has been sold to new owners, according to a report.

NEW LONDON, CT — TJ Motors, an independent car dealership, has been sold to a father-son duo, according to The Day of New London.

Todd Blonder is leaving the business after 45 years. He is selling it to Jason Pope, a Waterford Realtor and businessman, and his 20-year-old son, Jacob.

TJ Motors is one of three independent dealerships remaining in New London, and Blonder told The Day he expects that the new owners will continue selling quality vehicles at a fair price.

The 308 Broad St. dealership sells a variety of makes and models of cars, SUVs, minivans, and pickup trucks, according to its website.
