Connecticut College Women Take the Lead in Water Polo

Camels Take Three out of Five at Behrend Round Robin

The Connecticut College women's water polo team took two three out of its five three matches at Penn State Behrend this weekend. The following article was provided by Connecticut College Athletics Department:

The Camels (4-7) earned an 11-6 win against Macalester College in the first match Saturday and then dropped an 11-6 decision Wheaton College of Illinois before closing out the day with an 8-6 triumph against the host Bears of Penn State Behrend.

In Sunday's action, the Camels posted an 8-6 win against Utica College and closed out the weekend with a 19-4 loss to Carthage College.

Sophomore Kristin Lampley (Reading, Pa.) erupted with 18 goals in the first day's action and has already tallied 35 markers this spring.

Emily Hunter (Cheshire, Conn.) scored eight goals for the Camels and has totaled 32 scores for far.

Junior Katie Mullalley (Hingham, Mass.) and Megan Wright (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) chipped in with four scores each for Connecticut College.

Maia Taft (Lexington, Mass.) added two goals for the Camels.

Pamela Lovejoy (Guilford, Conn.) made 17 saves over the weekend.
