Making Strides Kickoff Event

The American Cancer Society will host a Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) kickoff reception and informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. on July 28, 2016 at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum. This kickoff will provide community members the opportunity to learn how to get involved in the New London MSABC walk slated for Oct. 23, 2016. The kickoff reception is free for local community members.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a noncompetitive, inspirational event that raises awareness and funds to end breast cancer and provide hope to ensure no one faces breast cancer alone. Since 1993, more than 12 million supporters have raised more than $750 million nationwide. Last year, over 500 walkers in the New London county helped to raise more than $50,000.
