Man Accused Of Stabbing Victim In New London: Police
A man was arrested in connection with a stabbing in New London last month, police said.
NEW LONDON, CT — A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in New London last month, police said.
Dartanian Byrd, 32, of New London, was charged with first-degree assault. His bond was set at $350,000 cash-surety.
The New London Communications Center received a call reporting a male stabbing victim in the area of Mountain Avenue and Prest Street on Sept. 18 at 8:03 p.m.

Officers responded and found a stabbing victim who had sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was taken to L+M Hospital for treatment.
Following an investigation, Byrd was arrested by warrant Saturday at 8:03 p.m. in the area of Colman Street.
