Man Charged In Connection To Commercial Burglary: New London Police

After an investigation into a rash of commercial burglaries in New London, police have made an arrest.

NEW LONDON, CT — A man was arrested following an investigation into a rash of commercial burglaries in New London, according to police.

Javon Young, 46, of New London, is accused in connection with a burglary that occurred at 1:52 a.m. Monday at 607 Bank St., the address for Greenleaf Farms CBD.

"This arrest is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our officers and investigative team," police wrote in a statement. "However, our efforts do not stop here. Our burglary investigations remain ongoing, and we are conducting thorough follow-ups to bring all those responsible to justice."

Young was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, interfering with an officer, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police are also investigating a burglary of the Washington Street Coffee House, according to The Day of New London.
