NEW LONDON, CT — A man is facing accusations that he committed crimes against a child, police said.

Peter Travisana, 35, was arrested Feb. 28 at 3:03 p.m. after what New London police said was a "lengthy and thorough investigation."

He was charged with first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
