Man Charged In New London Stabbing: Police

A man was charged in connection with a stabbing over the weekend.

NEW LONDON, CT — A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing over the weekend, according to police. Police received a call Saturday at 9:18 p.m. reporting a stabbing at a Cutler Street home.

Police responded and found that a man suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Jose Matoselicier, 56, of New London, was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree threatening, and disorderly conduct.
