Man Charged With Operating Drug Factory In New London: Police

A man was charged with drug dealing and gun crimes in New London on Thursday, according to police.

NEW LONDON, CT — A man was charged with drug dealing and gun crimes in New London on Thursday, according to police. Kenneth Barnhill, 37, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, two counts of possession of narcotics, two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, and operating a drug factory.

Police said searched Barnhill's Truman Street home on a warrant Thursday afternoon. Police seized two guns, ammunition, 35 grams of powder cocaine, a small amount of crack cocaine, four ounces of marijuana, $97,331 in cash, and various packaging materials and scales.

Barnhill was released on $150,000 bond.
