Man Killed In New London Motorcycle Accident Identified [UPDATE]
A Quaker Hill man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Jefferson Avenue in New London on Wednesday night.

NEW LONDON, CT — A man was killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night, according to police. Jared Barber, 33, of Quaker Hill, died in the accident.
The New London Emergency Communications Center received 911 calls at 10:36 p.m. reporting a motorcycle accident.
Police and firefighters responded. Barber received medical treatment and was transported to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The Investigation Services Division and Accident Reconstruction Team are investigating.
Part of Jefferson Avenue between Ashcraft Road and Colman Street was closed while the investigation was being conducted but has since been reopened.
