Man Rescued From Thames River In New London: Report
Firefighters rescued a man after his boat capsized Thursday morning.

NEW LONDON, CT — A man was rescued from the Thames River after his small boat capsized, according to The New London Day. The man was found clinging to a nearby boat.
The man was evaluated after the rescue but refused to be transported to the hospital for medical care.
Emergency dispatch received a call at 10:32 a.m. Thursday reporting that a boat had capsized near 16 Sparyard St. and a man was in the river. The New London Fire Department and U.S. Coast Guard responded to the call.
