Man Robbed Woman At Gunpoint, Stole Her Car: New London PD

A Waterford police officer located the stolen car and the accused engaged officers in pursuit, police said.

NEW LONDON, CT — A New London man is accused of robbing a woman at gunpoint as she exited her car, police said.

At 9:06 a.m. Friday, police responded to a report of an armed robbery in the area of Brewer and Blinman streets, police said. Police said a woman was robbed at gunpoint while she exited her car.

A man wearing a face mask approached the woman and demanded her car keys and her ID while display a firearm, police said.

Police said the victim did comply and wasn't injured. The car was stolen and a short time later a Waterford police officer located the stolen car and the accused engaged officers in pursuit, police said.

Besides Waterford police, also assisting in the investigation were Connecticut State Police, Montville and East Lyme police departments. Hall is being held in lieu of a $200,000 bond, and among his charges include first-degree robbery and second-degree larceny.
