Mitchell College Finishes 15th In Golf Invitational

The Mitchell College men's golf team trailed a pack of 15 teams on Tuesday at the Worcester State Invitational at Blackstone National Golf Club. The following information was provided by David Longolucco, sports information director at Mitchell College:

Salem State University bested the field of 15 with a team total of 312. Salem State's Nick Zolotas shot a six-under par 66 and took individual medalist honors by 11 strokes.

Mitchell shot a team score of 443, led by a round of 99 by freshman Austin Floyd, his best of the spring. Rounding out the scoring for the Mariners were sophomore Taylor Zaldivar (101), freshman Anthony Sabatino (118) and junior Jeffrey McNeal (125).

Mitchell will next compete at the Blazers Invitational on April 27 at Westover Golf Course.
