Deans Mill Farm 

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. The property can be rented for weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Additionally, the bed and breakfast can be rented by the room or reserved in its entirety for complete privacy. The Farm has the ability to host small private indoor events for up to 50 guests in the Farmhouse. Outdoor tented events are our specialty, with numerous locations on-site that are picturesque for your celebration. Outdoor tented celebrations can accommodate up to 250 guests.

NEW LONDON, CT — Police are seeking a suspect in an arson case. The New London Communications Center received 911 calls Thursday at 1:10 a.m. reporting that a Molotov cocktail was possibly thrown at a home and an area of grass was on fire as a result. Police and fire department personnel responded to 50 Granite St. and found two Molotov cocktails and other evidence at the scene. An area of grass was burned and police found a scorch mark on the exterior wall of the structure.No one was injured in the incident.Police are seeking the suspect pictured above. He is described as 5'6" to 5'8" with a stocky build. Police and fire officials are investigating the case. Anyone with information can call police at 860-447-1481 or submit information anonymously via the New London Tips 411 system.
