NEW LONDON, CT — Police are seeking a suspect in an arson case. The New London Communications Center received 911 calls Thursday at 1:10 a.m. reporting that a Molotov cocktail was possibly thrown at a home and an area of grass was on fire as a result.

Police and fire department personnel responded to 50 Granite St. and found two Molotov cocktails and other evidence at the scene. An area of grass was burned and police found a scorch mark on the exterior wall of the structure.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police are seeking the suspect pictured above. He is described as 5'6" to 5'8" with a stocky build.

Police and fire officials are investigating the case. Anyone with information can call police at 860-447-1481 or submit information anonymously via the New London Tips 411 system.
