Motorcyclist Killed In New London Crash, ID Released: Police
A motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in an accident Sunday, according to police.
NEW LONDON, CT — A motorcyclist was injured and later died in a crash in New London over the weekend, according to police.
Police and firefighters responded to a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle at the New London Shopping Mall at 351 N. Frontage St. on Sunday at 2:32 p.m.
The motorcyclist was taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.

The motorcyclist was identified as Shane Elliott, 43, of Salem. He was declared dead shortly after arriving at the hospital Sunday.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
