Naked Man In New London Faces Charges: Police
A man wanted on an arrest warrant out of Ledyard was charged after he was found intoxicated in New London.
NEW LONDON, CT — Ledyard police have charged a man who was walking around naked in New London. New London police found a naked man walking around at 575 Bank St. on Wednesday.
Police said the man was Derrick Helme, 42, who had an active re-arrest warrant out of Ledyard. Helme was heavily intoxication and was transported to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.
He was cleared by medical staff and released to the custody of Ledyard police.

Helme was charged with violation of probation and held on $15,000 bond.
