Narcotics Field Operations Yield Multiple Arrests in New London
Anyone with information concerning narcotics activity is encouraged to contact police immediately.
NEW LONDON, CT - Over the course of the recent week, members of the New London Police Department’s Vice and Intelligence Section conducted multiple narcotics field operations to address quality of life issues and concerns in different areas of the city, according to a release.
The following individuals were arrested and charged as follows during the initiative:
Jesus Fernandez, 24, of Westcott Avenue, Providence, R.I.

Michael Luciano, 31, of Jefferson Avenue, New London
- Possession of Narcotics
- Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell
- Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell within 1,500 feet of a School
- Operation of Drug Factory
Eddy Pena, 28, of Mitchell Street, Providence, R.I.

Louis Nieves-Rosado, 21, of Brewer Street, New London
- Sale of Narcotics
John Smith, 31, of High Street, Westerly, R.I.
- Violation of Protection Order
- Possession of Narcotics
- Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell
- Tampering with Evidence
Rakim Isom Seales, 21, of Griswold Court, New London
- Carrying a Pistol without a Permit
- Theft of a Firearm
- Violation of a Protective Order
The following seizures were made in association of the arrests:
- approx. 165.1 grams of Heroin
- approx. 35.4 grams of Crack Cocaine
- $2,340 of U.S. Currency
- Stolen Firearm: Ruger .22cal revolver (stolen out Providence, R.I.)
