New Interim Superintendent Appointed For New London

NEW LONDON, CT - The Board of Education appointed a new interim superintendent for New London schools Thursday, according to the New London Day. Officials said Stephen Tracy is expected to start his new job on Monday.

Tracy most recently served as an interim superintendent in Fairfield, the New London Day reported. He is a retired veteran administrator with a number of different leadership positions for several different school districts under his belt. Tracy's contract negotiations are ongoing, however board members are confident he will provide for a smooth transition, as reported by the New London Day. The board will now search for a permanent superintendent.
