New London Animal Control Seeking Owner for "Sweet" Dog with "Rough Start"

Blizzard is a sweet gentleman at about 5 1/2 years old, weighing about 55 pounds. He's had a rough start, spending most of his time living in a back yard.

He's super friendly and loves everyone he meets, but he may be a bit too energetic for small kids. He loves to play with his toys, but hasn't quite mastered the idea of bringing them back to you.

He definitely plays a mean game of keep-away.

He has few leash manners, but does know sit, and give paw. He actually tries to give you his paw all the time, expecting a little love, or a cookie for his behavior.

He seems to be open to the idea of meeting a potential canine sibling, but we have no idea how he is with cats. He's doing fairly well with his housebreaking here, and is currently vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm.

He isn't neutered yet, but his $50 adoption fee will get you a discount on his neutering at a participating veterinarian.
