New London Bar Found Liable for Beating Incident 6 Years Ago
The plaintiffs reported being beaten severely at The Exchange Bar & Grill by two men in 2010.

NEW LONDON, CT – A jury found a downtown bar liable for beatings suffered by two men six years ago, The Day reported.
The plaintiffs, Oscar Tejada and Moises Simaj, were awarded $117,699 in court on Sept. 22 from a six-member jury, according to The Day. The men had reported being beaten severely at The Exchange Bar & Grill by two men who sometimes served as bouncers there.
Court records said the two victims were beaten unconscious in October 2010 while drinking at the bar with the two suspects, The Day reported. The suspects allegedly beat the victims with their fists, feet and a barstool after getting into a verbal altercation.
